The non-profit organisation Forschungsgesellschaft Bayerisches Laserzentrum (blz) is a centre of applied laser research. The blz regards itself as the link between basic research and industrial application. Its mission is to make the benefits of photonic technology available to others. As innovation partner, the blz helps companies to discover new fields of application for photonic technologies with focus on laser material machining, system technology and training.
